Good God, NO!!! Why should you care if ANYONE, especially someone you don't even know, would care if you are a "slob" or not?? Besides, beds that are "made" are archaic and pointless unless you just want to showcase the bed for some reason. Have better things to do with my shortly-allotted free time. (Like play on the computer for instance)

I make the bed I the nights that we will be staying. I ask for extra sheets (just in case) and if we need more towel we get them too.
On the day we are leaving I pile all the towels in a corner on the bathroom. I strip the bed, leaving the pillows and comforter to the side.
We leave a tip for the maid because she gave us the room in great condition. Also, it is typically the maid who gives us the sheets/towels needed for our stay.

No, I will leave the room pretty clean but I put a few bucks with a
note for the cleaning person as a tip and thank you. I usually will
leave something everyday while in the hotel/motel.

I do pull up the covers and throw all the trash off the counters away, but that's so I don't live like a slob.

No. That's what I pay the big bucks for. They can make my bed, change my towels, clean my toilet. I do have a colleague that's paranoid about the staff touching her stuff so she hangs a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door for her entire 4 night stay. I think that's nasty; she has to sleep in the same manky old bed linens and use musty towels . Yuck!!!! They can touch my stuff all they want...heck they can wear my panties on their head as long as they clean my room and put fresh towels and bed linens in!

No. I also remove the bedspread because it is only washed once a year, if that. I leave a note not to put it back on the bed.

I dont make up the bed completely, I just pull the covers up so it doesnt look so messy! Its also easier to find and put things if you have the bed covers up.
