I have recently started using proactiv and it works great but I would like to continue to use tanning beds. It says to stay out of sunlight but I was wondering if anyone knows about the tanning beds

It's not advisable to tan or sunbathe when you're using acne medications because it makes your skin more sensitive and more likely to burn.

Also, tanning aggravates acne.

Tanning bed=UV rays=sunglight. I would stay out of the tanning bed, they'r enot good for you anyway, but if you must make sure you use at LEAST spf 15 and don't stay in there long. The ingredients in proactive will make your skin more photosensitive.

Also, exposure to UV rays can dry your skin, and overstimulate your oil producing glands, thusly making your acne worse.

Use a sunless tanner and avoid the tanning beds. The tanning bed's light penetrates deeper into the skin and it can cause damage that makes you look older.

I saw you mention Proactiv. I've tried it and it really works. They even offer a free 2 month supply:

Never do this!! If you get too much UV rays, the proactiv could go critical mass and you'd blow up sixteen square blocks of your town and no one could live there for centuries. Thousands would die in the mushroom cloud. Consider yourself lucky to not have done it yet...

At the same time? How do you apply your solution when you're so confined?
