I like pampers cause they are softer.

pampers were great at first, because of the softness. but once you move onto solids, pamerps just suck, in my opinion. huggies are great for older babies, but the target brand of wipes does a great job and for less price.

Walmart's "parent's choice" the box is about 10$, and they aren't as dry as some, and definitely nice and soft. I was surprised that a "no-name" brand could be so good... I like their diapers better than huggies and pampers too. Actually, I think luvs are nicer diapers, they're softer, and form more to baby, but they don't carry them here, and i have to cross the border to Detroit if i really want them (not very convenient).

We generally use Aloft or some other generic brand. I don't like the Walmart brand because of the way the box is made- the wipes always seem to dry out really quickly.

Or we buy a big box of huggies or pampers wipes (generally whichever one we have a coupon for) when we go to Babies R Us. The really big boxes with like 6 refill packs in them.

I like Pampers Extra Sensitive, Huggies Supreme, Seventh Generation, and Lasinoh (in no particular order).

We have tried many types with our daughter... We finally settled on Pampers "one ups", they were the best buy for us. We used Huggies for a while but because they are soooo thick I felt like I was wasting too much $$$ going thru like 4-5 each "poopie" diaper change, I don't feel this way with the Pampers.

When my baby was first born, I got Viva paper towels (they are VERY soft) and tore them into individual sheets and stacked them by the diaper stand. When it was time for a change I ran one under warm water and used that instead of the pre-bought wipes.

It was a great alternative because it was cheaper, had no detergent on it, and was warm (didn't need a wipes warmer). I did this til she was 3 months old and then changed to Huggies Wipes once she wasn't as sensitive to the cold and I wasn't worried about the detergent.

I use huggies wipes and my baby wears pampers. The pampers sensitive wipe made her break out on her bottom...

Huggies - but the Kirkland brand from Costco is a close second. I found that Pampers wipes were too oily.

Mustela! Mustela! Mustela! I swear they are pricey but SO worth the extra money. You only need ONE to clean up the biggest messy diaper, and my son has never gotten a rash. In the long run I think they save you money by the package lasting so long, and you never need to buy diaper cream/powder. drugstore.com sells them online.

If I can't get Mustela - Lansinoh comes in second, then Tushies. I'm a huge label reader and most of the other brands scare me with the list of ingredients. Try them on yourself too - if it stings don't let it touch your baby.
