Right now they have a dress-shoe style sole, which means they're pretty slippery to walk with. Is there something I can buy to like, stick at the bottom. I can't wear them if they're so hard to walk in.. help!

A shoe repair shop can put a different kind of sole on any shoe

You can take a fine sandpaper to the bottom to scuff the bottoms a bit so they provide more traction.

It's what would naturally happent ot he soles if you wore them without you actually having to walk in them and run the risk of taking a butt plant on the sidewalk.

I had the same exact Problem! I just wore them outside as much as possible to wear down the bottoms.

You can scuff up the bottom.

Be careful.
