The only reason i divorced was because he abandoned me and the marriage with no intent of ever returning and he wanted out of the marriage... If he had not abandoned me and the marriage things very well may have been different. In most of the cases people really need to try and work it out and stick to their marriages and vows unless it is in the case of abandonment like with what happened to me or abuse or adultery... People want out way too easy these days.

the other woman, i think that you have to be very aware of each other, i mean that you have to be able to know that what ever you do or say is not going to hurt or offend your partner, you can not take back words spoken in anger, and you can not undo a hurt that is done out of spite. be considerate in all things, of one another. i guess it really boils down to respect, you can not really love someone you do not respect. i am in a very good relationship now and i have great respect for my boyfriend, he is very thought full of me and i try to treat him the same. good luck--one more thing don't let giving up be an option, if you truly love each other you must make it a true commitment. it's kind of like having a child it should be nurtured and cared for for the rest of your life.

i was divorced only once and the prominent cause of it was because he introduced me to the other woman and i knew he had been seeing her late at night.if he hadn't cheated on me then i might have not divorced him but he did what he did and it couldn't have been avoided.

we were to young he wanted out. to much extended family interferences. also the cheating.
