The key to a perfect presentation is to know the material better than anyone you might be presenting to or in the audience. Nothing is worse than a presentation by someone who does not know the material.
Practice a lot until everything is memorized and starts to flow very smoothly and evenly. Impress the audience with your calm cool collected presence.

KEEP IT SIMPLE

Presentation should be no more than 12 - 15 slides
Slides should not have to many words ( you don't want to read the slides out loud verbatim)
Colour code information (Black and White is hard to follow)
Graphs are impressive
Charts are good (but not just a bunch of numbers like a table. They need to be summarized)
Not to much detail in the presentation (you can be as detailed as you want in case there are questions but you don't have to display all the information you looked at)
Introduction page
Study
Conclusion

Give time for questions (sometimes questions even during the presentation helps depending on the forum)

Good luck

The key is to have the audience walk away with something they didn't know before the presentation. Otherwise why else would they attend

The key to a perfect presentation is CONFIDENCE, without confidence you are bound to mess up. Also, make sure to rehearse, and be CONFIDENT.

Keep their attention, by infussing some entertaiment into it (pictures, animations, etc.) and keep it simple and to the point.
