Revision 1.0 can support only the Santa Ana 1210 Amd opteron CPU, no other version of the Amd Opteron will work on this board. For the 1210 to work you will need flash the bios to version F4.

For revision 2.0 of the GA-M61PM-S2 the answer is the same.
