There are tons of San Diego urban legends... ive lived here my whole life and heard a ton... one is The Haven in Jamul, CA..it was a bakery and i think the family lived there well a young girl hung herself in the kitchen and the father went crazy, everything was left in its original place and its said that the young girl is there at night....
Another is the well known Waley House, The Waley House was used as a public storage almost for records many people lived there the history of the house is everywhere however, many people believe that it is a portal for spirits crossing between here and wherever they go
The Hotel Del Coronado is said to be haunted by a girl named Katie who commited suicide and was found on the steps leading to the beach
There is a story of a bus full of children that broke down and got stuck on the train tracks again in Jamul, CA. Apparently the doors got stuck and all the children and driver were killed. If you park your car in nuetral on the tracks, your car will be pushed off the tracks. If you put baby powder on your hood you will also see hand prints and if you dont park in nuetral you will hear tapping on your window and crying noises...
If you go on google there are a couple more in Ramona and Lakeside as well as Oceanside and Downtown there are many many

There are plenty of passions to pursue in San Diego and that hotelbye is the place to begin discovers what San Diego must offer. In the San Diego holiday you will step external of one's rut and you'll investigate new actions while you're here and you may only find that discovering a brand new goal can be an experience in itself. Among the areas should see from San Diego is Balboa Park. That park has over a 1400 acre and here you can find famous houses, numerous museums, gardens, and green space. The park was created for the Panama California Exhibition of 1915-1916. The commonplace architecture is Spanish-Mexican style, reduced level buildings that blend in with the natural surroundings. On the list of features of the park would be the Botanical Gardens and lily pool, the Museum of Man, the Museum of Natural History, the San Diego Museum of Art, and the popular San Diego Zoo. Even although you never get into a building the park is just a lovely place.

Yes they do exsit, they are near Mt. Soledad and there was about 10 houses built. These house did belong to a lot of the cast that worked on the Wizard of Oz movie. They are really hard to find and I think only 1 or 2 are left. I know the people up in that area are very protective of the area and don't like a lot of people up there. I know that Ken Kramer did a report on it and it show up on his show About San Diego. It is on a Friday night on the 11pm news and a half hour show on Saturday at 6pm. Everyonce in a while you will see the segment he did on the houses and lots of pictures. Also you can see pictures on the San Diego Historic Society web page.

My favorite urban legend about San Diego when I lived there was "Duffysville" - the land up in what is now Silicon Mesa where the sherrif, John Duffy, had a training facility for his deputies. Back in the early 1980's there really was such a place.
Another favorite are the ghosts said to haunt the Hotel Del Coronado (Kate Morgan is one of them) and the Whaley House in Old town. I found a cool website you could tell readers about that talks about these and others in San Diego - see it below.
Here's a link to more urban legends of San Diego. Lots of facts to support the urban legends or to disprove them.

Many prayers have gone up & God has heard the prayers. We now need to thank God for the people who are making a difference & for the safety of people who are stuck in this situation. I thank God that their needs are taken care of with more than enouph & plenty left over. That the insurance companies will pay the cost. That the government will pay whatever additional that is necessary to reconstruct, etc... But, I think we need to look into what we (US) could have done to prevent this in the first place. Maybe we weren't praying enouph ahead of time. The Lord told me not to pray about the fires, but to pray for the people & their safety & well being. Also, thank God that there hasn't been more than 2 deaths known so far. God is surely giving favor & protecting people through this very difficult time. What the enemy has meant to destroy lives, the Lord has prevented many deaths.
