I have been on Yasmin for over 2 years now and during the last week of my period in December me and my husband decided for me to stop taking my birth control so we could start a family.
My period had started Dec 27th and then Jan 7th I began to experience very light bleeding (only when I wiped) and this lasted 3 days then stopped. I have since taken many pregnancy tests and the readings are all very light- but still say negative.
I am now 5 days late on my period- I feel bloated and very slight abdominal craming (very light). Could it be possible I am pregnant or is it still too soon and my cycle is getting adjusted? Also was the light bleeding "implantation bleeding" ????

Loads of women are unable to get a postive result before they are about a week late or some even more. I was 7 days late before my result showed up positive. This early on in a pregnancy not all women have very high levels of HCG hormone (the pregnancy hormone that shows in our urine) so if your levels are currently low then that could explain why you have not had a positive result as of yet. The light bleeding sounds so similiar to implantation bleeding, and the other symptoms you are describing also sound like you could be pregnant. I had cramping for a few weeks after I missed my period (but I also had a bleed ). The only other way is to either wait a few more days or go to your GP and ask for a blood test to detect a possible pregnancy. If you are not pregnant do not be disheartened, its early days! Goodluck and I hope you get what you want x

Sounds like there is a good possibility that you are from the symptoms you are describing. However, I recommend a blood test to be sure. Your body could be playing tricks and not back into a regular cycle yet, so you could be feeling period symptoms minus the bleeding.
The light bleeding could have been implantation bleeding but go have a blood test. This will ease your mind and stop the stress.
Good luck

Your right in thinking that it could be your body adjusting and resrtablishing its cycle. The light bleed bleed may have been a response to this. Some pregnant women dont show rising levels of hGC for some time before it possible to take a true, accurate test. A visit to your doc is reccommended for peace of mind id say

because you came off the pill not so long ago it could be that your periods are stilling settlting down, but on a pos. note i had 20..yes 20 pregnancy tests on my little boy and the first one came up pos. when i was 5 months even though the hospital did a scan and there he was!!. They will send you to the early pregnancy clinic at your local for a simple blood test which is even more accurate that the ones you pee on
Good luck and i hope you find out soon x

if you have taken the test after your period was due and it says negative, i think its unlikely you are pregnant. Its probably your body adjusting to coming off the pill. I took a test while i was three days late for my period and there was a very clear positive. Try again this month!

its very hard to tell as you have just come off birth control your periods are gonna be a little hay wire, i would wait another few weeks then do a test just so you know for sure and pregnancy tests ain't cheap, it took me 2 months from coming off the pill to get pregnant and i think i spent a small fortune on tests but i am now 7 weeks pregnant.good luck

it is possible to have a positive negative (where the test says its negative when it isnt), if your body isnt producing the pregnancy hormone it detects. however, if youve just stopped using birth control, it will mess up your system, and i think that is more likely to be the reason. see your doctor, and good luck!

Go get a blood test if you really want to know now.
Otherwise, just wait. It could very well be your body getting used to no pill.

some tests require a greater physically powerful volume of HCG together as others lots much less. fake positives do ensue yet frequently once you get an excellent its the actual deal. in the adventure that your rfile mentioned your preggers then i might have faith your dr.
