Wow people can be really stupid sometimes.

Yes, the House Democrats did pass every single bill that Nancy Pelosi said they would within 100 hours. To deny that they did is simply idiotic. There were six issues that the Democrats said they would address in the first 100 hours of the new congress. Every single bill they wanted was passed -
- ethics reform (check)
- raise minimum wage (check)
- end subsidies for oil companies (check)
- ease restrictions on stem cell research (check)
- cut interest rates for student loans (check)
- allow government to negotiate prices of prescription drugs for medicare part D (check)

hmmm... 6 for 6, and done in less than 100 legislative hours. Sounds like they accomplished what they said they would to me. Whether you agree with what they did or not is not important - they did exactly what they said they would do.

Kinda ironic with all the preliminary fanfare and hoopla surrounding the stupendous Democratic "victory" in congress that we've to maximum ineffective and beside the point congress we've ever had in American historic previous. Even timber approval score is 23 factors larger. Now the Dems are self imploding and pointing hands at one yet another, yet a minimum of finally they're pointing their bony little digits interior the "fantastic" course!

They passed their legislation that bypassed the committees and were voted on without the bipartisan input that was promised.

The first one considered by the Senate, the bill raising the minimum wage will be shot down and sent to a reconciliation commitee to try to hammer out a measure that is acceptable to both Houses.

The other bills are also likely to encounter resistance in the Senate.

No, and the joke is on the ones who voted for them. Democrats lied as always, as always they never meant a word they said. I think it is funny as heck, when will people learn that the Democrats lie to your face and point fingers at some one else. LOL.

Nope, their finding out that now that they have power, they need to have ACTUAL ideas, not just saying they disagree with Bush.

Nothing will change until there's a solid third party.
