p.s. i exploded a bottle somehow while trying to open one and it sprayed all over my kitchen, it was a cabernet sauvignon so it made quite the mess and was real fun cleaning up.

That's a loaded question! (Okay, that was a bad joke...)
You could look at this positively in 2 ways:
Yes - it will be good practice for when the right person wants to drink wine with you.
Or No - save those candles for a time that you will have that special someone with you. This is the one I would go with, because when you get tipsy, you'll still be able to see...kinda.
By the way, opening a bottle of wine requires something called a corkscrew. You need to stop hitting the bottle on the counter to open it. It's WAY less messy, okay?
