Big Colleges/Universities-divisions-explain this to me please (!?)?

Question

Well, recently I have been looking at colleges and things of that sort, and honestly, I'm really confused. Now, I do not get how this work, let's say, example, Arizona State University,..... now Herberger college of fine arts is i guess.... a "division of it ? "... idk how that works is it the same and just yeah, if that could be explained, i'd appreciate it.

also, honestly, for a career, i want to be a highschool art teacher. what is a good art college/well renound college with a good fine arts program that will look very good on the job application. :-/ ?

A university is made up of several colleges, usually a college of arts and sciences, a college of education, a college of business, a college of engineering, a college of fine arts, etc.

Herberger College of Fine Arts is a college in Arizona State University.

If you want to be a high school art teacher, you do NOT want to go to an art college. You want to major in education (in the college of education at whatever university you attend), and perhaps minor in either art history or studio arts.
