I don't do country, heavy metal/rock, dance, or classical. I listen to rap, but I prefer hip hop and rap from the 90s than what's actually out- seems like they can throw any kind of lyrics out if it has a good beat ( altho I admit I've fallen to some of those songs myself :) )
I can tolerate pop and alternative rock in small doses mainly because I work at a retail store that plays a heavy mix. I also listen to latin, but I can be selective.
But generally I'm happy with hip hop, rap, r&b, reggaetón.

Well, it's not whole genres, just most of genres or specific artists. Rap, but I do like 50 Cent. Pop, especially Hilary Duff, except for Avril Lavigne and the Veronicas.

Cannot stand to listen to:
Classical- self explanatory
Hip Hop- do not like it- boom, boom, hop, blah, blah, blah
rap- can't understand what is being said- actually change my mind, like most of all the original rap.
Pre 1980 country- whine, whine, whine- don't like that steel guitar awhining.

Basically sappy love songs. I hate them. I rather hear Poison, aerosmith, other 80's music, country music, some pop. Talk dirty to me by Poison is my fvorite song, Poison is my favorite band, and Bret Michaels has great vocals. The song i hate the worst is i want to know what love is. I hate that song with a passion.

I have little tolerance for Reggae and Reggaton. As for the other types of music, it mainly depends on the song not the artist.
