They are trying to make people believe they are switching to healthier foods. KFC announced they are getting rid of all trans fats, unfortunately the food is still deep fried, so it's still going to be full of fat and extra calories.

It's all a farce as long as they are serving food that has 20 to almost 60% of it's calories are fat.

I try to avoid fast food as much as possible.

The latest trend in this industry, what I feel is the putting up of the Digital Menu at restaurants. An app, unlike the paper menu, it has high efficiency to increase the restaurant business.

Removal of trans fat, introduction of reduced or "lite' food items and bottled water. Does it work?

Remember several years ago Taco Bell introduced its Lite Menu with reduced fat sour cream, reduced fat beans and and low fat cheese? Tasted terrible. After less than a year they dropped all their light products because healthy didn't sell.

People good to fast food places for the fattening & tasty flavors they come to know and love!

people eat mroe fast food than ever.
parents feed fast food to children for 3 meals a day.

after the movie "supersize me", moat fast food chain try to make a healthy food in their meal, such as salad and veggie soup. but i really doubt if people will lose weight or even pick the food for that, except the people in the city, such as NYC or LA. where people need to keep their body size regardless.

Fast food chains are aware of the "health craze" that has hit our society,so places like McDonald's and KFC have made adjustments to their menus.Salads and apple slices can now be purchased.

Most places are definitely changing- adding healthier stuff, but adding even bigger (and sometimes cheaper for the size) meals.
