when psa grades a card, they sometimes put on OC on it. what does that mean? thanks

OC on a grade baseball card stands for off center. They can still be graded but if the centering is bad enough they will not be qualified to be graded...

OC does stand for off center. There are grading parameters as far as centering is concerned for mint, near mint/mint, etc. and if a card that is in a condition that would otherwise qualify for a certain grade is not within the centering parameters it is given the OC qualifier. Personally, I have never agreed with this. If the card is OC, it should be graded at the next lower appropriate grade.
