Certain kinds of candy are better wrapped individually, others I can take from the bowl.

I like my candy loose in a bowl. Wrappers make a big mess, besides that, I'm too lazy to struggle with opening candy all the time, and some of those wrappers are impossible to get off! Most of the time, I end up eating part of the wrapper with the candy anyway.

Individually wrapped. That way, if it's sticky candy, it won't stick to the other pieces.

What if at a party, someone picks their nose then reaches into the M&M's bowl. Then I come along and pick up some M&M's with booger germs all over them. EEWWWW!!!!!!
