Late periods ruled out alot of common possiblities any suggestions?

Ok I have mine every mid late month 15th-20th can come anytime then. I take birth control the pill religiously and have for a year now. Period still comes on time. I take certain medications for bipolar disorder the past 7 months period still comes right on time every month. I took a pregnancy test today it was negative. I am a week late just about. And it is driving me nuts. Only one partner my husband. I have had 3 prior children the last one a year and almost a half ago. I dont mind being pregnant but could it still be that and just too early or something more serious. Thanks for any help.

If your periods are generally right on schedule, then you could certainly be pregnant, despite taking the Pill. Have you ruled out the late period as a side effect of your other medications? Even though you've been taking those for a while, it could still pop up as a side effect now. If you don't think that's the case - and since you're a week late already - try a home pregnancy test. If you are pregnant, you're far enough along now that a home test will give you accurate results.
