I say go crazy! Wear a really outrageous color so you won't just blend in with everyone else. Go for a stunning figure hugging dress, and don't over do the accessories. Just keep everything simple, like your hair and make-up, but make your dress a really beautiful bold statement!
And if it's a night thing, don't make it a mini. If it's only to restaurant you're best off showing your cleavage. There's no use showing off gorgeous legs when they have to be hidden under a table anyway.

Red or pink. Whatever looks best on you. Actually have a black skirt or denim jeans and a red or pink sparkley top. Have a neclace that coordinates with the outfit and back shoes.Put your hair in a ponytail with a pink ribbon. Oh, and the necklace should be in the shape of a heart.

Okay, since it's a nice resturaunt, probably a "romantic" top (probably pink or red, depending on what looks best on you, and maybe a lacy detail, flowers, hearts, ect.) and a nice pair of jeans with heals. If you are the type of girl to accessorize, then probably "nice" jewlrey, such as gold or silver, would do. Oh, and have fun!
