Do you ovulate on the shot?

Just wondering if people on Depo ovulate.

No. This is how it works as birth control. It prevents ovulation, so you don't get your period---and cannot get pregnant!

I have no medical degree, but I believe the answer is no. I am pretty sure that's why it works the way it does, stopping your menses. If there is no egg, then the lining doesn't build up and doesn't need to be shed.
