Cause i was looking at the same card just diff manufac and one has one type and the other has another type the core clcok is same but mem clock is different would it matter what one i get if thre different types

The last number!! On a gddr2 it is a 2, while on a gddr3 it is a 3.

Mathematically speaking: gddr2-gddr3=1 LOL

GDDR3 is much faster than GDDR2, GDDR2 was not very good and was quickly replaced by GDDR3. It would matter as far as performance, the GDDR3 would give you much better performance.
