I want to buy an all in one, with the fax printer copier and that will print out great photos. There are some great ones to chose from but my dilema is I want one that will print professinal looking photos like you would get form walmart, or meijers.

I was thinking the Dell Photo All-in-One Printer 966 . But I am not sure about the quality the pictures look like with that one.

Then I suggest you leave the Dell "All in One" alone & get a quality HP, Canon, or Epson photo printer.

For high quality (resolution) photos you should count on spending at least $150 - $250 ... if not you will eventually experience disappointment.

You did say "professional", right ?
This unit has high ratings :

Take my advise. Don't get a printer from Dell unless it specifically says it's a regular name brand printer. If you get a Dell printer you will be forced to buy your ink from them and them only which means they can jack up the price and you have to order it through the mail. My girlfriend has a Dell printer/scanner and she just spent $100 on new ink. You can buy a new printer for not much more that that!

Do yourself a favor and just go out and buy a regular name brand like HP or Lexmark (I'd go with HP because they're the easiest). That way you can see the printer and talk to the store clerk about what you're looking for.

And just so ya know those 3-in-1 jobs can be a hassle.

Dont get a Dell printer, You should get a HP printer. Dell printers have had some problems where I work (we only got them because they came free with an order.) Also, ink is harder to get - especially if you need it in a hurry or dont want to pay shipping from dell.

As for All in One printers. I would suggest an HP Photosmart C5180 All-in-One.

It has individual ink tanks so you dont need to toss a whole cartridge because in needs one color.

It will print good photos, but may I suggest Snapfish.com for ordering digital photos into prints -- it is cheaper and they look more 'real'

Lexmark is a great printer with a simple setup. HP although has better printing quality and customer support. You should probably get an HP.
