Or should you be worried what people think??

I don't see why it has to be an "either or." I also don't think one should "worry" about what others think. The thing is, sometimes your friends can give you some input worth thinking about. I would always listen, & then, of course, make up my own mind. Going with your heart sounds wonderfully romantic, but isn't always so. The objectivity of others CAN help you to see what your "heart" hasn't allowed you to see. Input can't "hurt." Bottom line, you'll do what you choose anyway--hopefully based on a bit more than your "heart."

It is very important to follow your heart, but you must always keep in mind that our emotions can cloud our vision. Frequently when we are filled with love or anger we view a situation from a biased angle. The best thing to do is to try and view the situation objectively. This may mean making a list of "pros and cons", talking to someone who isn't involved directly and can give a more objective opinion, or simply "sleeping on it".

If you know in your heart that you are doing the right thing, then it doesn't matter what other people say or think. What matters most is what you think.

It's always a good idea to get other people's input on situations, especially people you know very well who you can trust to give you the best advice. In the end, you should probably go with your heart. My question to you is, if you truly feel in your heart that this is the right decision you want to make, then why are you asking this question?

no one should run their life based soley on their feelings, or "heart." that's totally absurd. humans have a brain for a reason. the heart is not to be totally trusted, so the brain comes in a backs it up!

as far as worrying what people think....use your heart AND your brain, and if it's still a good idea...well, go ahead and try it i guess.

This really depends. If you have your heart set on a course of action, and lots of people very close to you are telling you it's a bad idea, you should at least hear them out.

Depends with how well you could live without knowing. I think I'd have to go with my heart because the curiousity would kill me.

Saying that, keep in mind that sometimes, if everyone else tells you something, they're all right. So take note if they all say he's abusive, or he's too old... it wouldn't stop me, but I wouldn't go in blind either. Gotta know yourself before you take steps like that.

always go with your heart no matter. People only judge on what they might or might not do. How does anyone know what you would do besides the man who create us.

Everyone cares what others think, although to varying degrees.

I say stick to your heart, but if people come to you with a problem, listen. Then re-evaluate your position based on new findings.

I say go with your heart. Sometimes I worry about what other people think of me, but if they REALLY like me, they would accept me for who I am. If they don't accept me for who I am, then they probably aren't worth my time.
