AnnualCreditReport.com is the official site to help consumers to obtain their free credit report.

This central site allows you to request a free credit file disclosure, commonly called a credit report, once every 12 months from each of the nationwide consumer credit reporting companies: Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.

There are three credit agencies. Most states have laws that allow you to get a free report once per year from each agency.

Each has their own procedures for getting you credit report.

Three Main agencies can be found online.

Experion, Trans Union and Equifax.

You should not have to for them.

Your credit score is something different and usually you have to pay for it - but you really do not need to know it.

If you have late payments etc on your credit rating you will have a lower credit score. If you alwyas pay on time etc, you will have a better score. It is not that simple becasue it has to do with how muhc credit you have etc, etc.

You can request your credit reports free from all three agencies through this site:

www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/credit/freereports.htm

You can request your FICO score for a small fee from them also.
