I really have problems with that idea.

I mean, first off, if you really want to, and it's important, go for it.

But the problem is, people underplay the importance of sexual compatibility. It's easy to brush that off as shallow and say, "sex is not important." But if he refuses to do things you like (or imagine yourself to like if you're a virgin), or does things you DO NOT do, then it can cause strife.

Sex - consensually between two mature people - is not dirty. It's not shameful. It's not evil. It's normal, healthy, and, when had between two people with great sexual chemistry, a whole lot of fun.

Wait until you're ready, of course. But if you're ready before marriage, don't kick yourself. Have fun.

that's my two cents, anyway.

I did for my 1st marriage, but after that went to pot, I didnt care anymore. Not saying I was with every guy I dated, but it just didnt seem real to me to "re-save" myself. Besides, how did I know soon to be hubby was telling the truth with how many people hed been with? It didnt matter to him, so why would it to me?

No and I'm glad of it. You'd have to be idiotic to jump into a marriage without finding out whether you and your partner are sexually compatible.
