It's under erosion, but try: corrasion, attrition, hydraulic action, solution and cavitation.
If its more general, i suppose is
erosion, or
physical, chemical and biological weathering aided by river processes...

5 ways? Hmmmm.... well one way off the top of my head is weathering. Erosion breaking down rocks until they are small bits then they collect and gather together in beaches and whatnot. I suppose one could get geologically technical and say there are 5 distinct ways to make sand but I only know of the one general method.
