Does that make it anyless rude to claim that you are not being rude before you say something mean?

Yeah, that's like saying, " Don't take this personally, but I don't like you." That's rude.

Simon Cowell is extremely rude........why do you think they have body guards there when they are having the try-outs? I bet lots of folks want to jump across the table and beat him down.

But.........I love American Idol!

Yes. Simon is always rude, but brutally honest....sometimes too honest.

it's like some reflex to him. when he says that, you just know he's gonna cut loose. he should just say, "hey, i know this is rude, but that's how i roll!"
