i have a paper to turn in and its due next monday and i need some ideas on why elvis presley is the best.

because he learned his moves from the best...Forrest Gump.
and he had a good voice too

The reason he could be considered the best was because he was a white performer who sounded black. (Remember, he was on the radio before anyone saw him.) White kids in the 50s were drawn to black music because it had rhythm, energy and sexuality. No white performers were doing that. Sun Records in Memphis primarily recorded black artists at that time, but when Elvis recorded for them, in some ways he broke down racial barriers and made it okay for white kids to like black music and openly listen to the blues. His musical tastes were gospel and blues. In many ways he bridged the gap between black musicians and white kids. Blues evolved into rock and roll primarily because he provided the catalyst and the bridge between the two genres and the two races. Enough to get you started?

Because he was a natural he was born with he's talent. and to me that,made him the best.along with the fact that when he moved,he didn't think about how or rather it looked good or not. all his moves was what and how he felt the music.
