There is a proven connection between a country's economic prosperity and the education of its female citizens. The more educated women a nation has, the less likely its citizens will live in poverty. Educating women benefits everyone, not just the women who are being educated.

Hello this is not 1950's this is 2007. So yes I think we are titled to a great education. Please don't tell me you are one of those guys who believe that women should still be the homemaker and babysitter. Wake up most women don't like that anymore it shows that they have no independence. Anymore women want to make sure if there spose left them that they could do it all on there own. Anyway to who wants dumb women running around on the streets. Duh.

You're kidding, aren't you? Why would you want 50% of the population uneducated? Especially when it's the 50% that is responsible for educating your children during their most impressionable years? For teaching them to talk, and to think, and to reason, to know their numbers and their letters, etc.etc.etc.

YES, absolutely, b/c men who are jerks go and tell women that they love them and will take care of them forever, and leave them high and dry with children and no way to make good money.
