Well, I am only 17 and I do belive in God and in spirits.
I used to go to a private school when I was in the 5th grade and our one friend did a report on Witchcraft, she had a books on it to work on at school. The books would have spells and chants and all sorts of things. We went in the restroom, turned all the lights off and said some of those things just as the book said to do. We didn't know any better.
That night I just remember being on the phone with one of my friends that did it and we were TERRIFIED of going to sleep. That night I had my little sis sleep with me, both of us had the same dream about some witch chasing us.
Now I do not have any of those bad dreams but I feel when I'm alone that something dark is there haunting me. When I pray, thoughts are always interferred with bad things about God and they are uncontrollable. I read somewhere that doing things like ouija boards and other things can cause evil spirits into your life and I wonder if this is happening to me?

All I know is that the thoughts are NOT MINE and seem forced into me. They are horrible things I do not like to think when I am praying to myself.

Go talk to your pastor... seriously. I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but most of the answers you're going to get online from people will be way off base. There are people out there who believe in some really crazy things. You could get any kinda crazy advice. Talk to someone at your church that you trust.

I'm afraid it is all in your head. Being "possessed" is simply a psychological disorder. Evil spirits sometime do exist but they cannot enter the body. Any situation similar to the movie "The Exorsist" is just a mental issue in someone's head. You were terrified of going to sleep because you performed the witchcraft and that is all you could think about for the day.
As far as Ouiji boards, they are fake too. I hate to break it to you, but they are just a game made out of cardboard by Parker Brothers. They cannot bring spirits into a room any better than a piece of paper with writing all over it.

What you are experiencing is completely psychological.
That doesn't mean you aren't experiencing something scary.
But as the saying goes 'it's all in your head.'
There are no such things as evil spirits, good spirits, ghosts, goblins, or any other entities that have been made up over the years to alter peoples beliefs or behavior.
Your statement that you went to private school is very telling.
I'm guessing it was a Catholic School or other religious school.
All of the crap that is taught in these schools is the cause of many fears, anxieties, complexes, and emotional problems; such as you may be experiencing.
These things DO NOT exist.
My advice to you would be to see a psychologist.
DO NOT seek advice from a priest or rabbi, etc. They will only
compound your problem. And the crap they have filled your head with has CAUSED you problem.
Good Luck

Reading a spell in some book you found would probably have no effect. Spells do not work that way. It sounds like your at just scared and that is causing your bad dreams. Using a Ouija board can invite unwanted spirits because its like opening a beacon to any and all spirits who see it.
Possessions are something that you don’t need to worry about. You cannot be possessed.
Stop being so scared and only do activities that boost your confidence and spirituality. Nothing can control you unless you let it.

I am a Christian and I love the Harry Potter books. I enjoy fantasy and that's what it is. I think that their are Satan worshipers and followers and that some information is dangerous to impressionable children or teens and even some adults. But Harry Potter is made up, good always wins over evil, and the lady can write. So this is one Christian that can't wait for the last book although I am afraid that she is going to kill Harry off in the last book. Unfortunately he is not a unique idiot, he is a misinformed zealot, but he's not alone in his views. He is the type of person who gives Christians a bad name, look at the "God Hates Fags" bunch from Westboro, TN they profess to be doing Gods will by picketing funeral and memorial services. People do some sad things in the name of Christianity.

I think that most of what you had experienced was your mind convincing you of these things. Brought on by religious rhetoric and stereo types. This is not to say that the evil that you may have inadvertently released or attracted does not exist or have not bothered you. While it is true that you cannot be possessed against your will you fear is a weakness that can be exploited thus lowering your will. Go to your priest or pastor and confide in him/her and they will help you deal with this.

Even though you did not know what u were doing, you broke the law of God. The best to do now is go to God in prayer and ask for his forgiveness.
After that you are a child of God. Therefore with the knowledge you have the power, given by God to command that evil spirit to leave you. Command it in the name of Jesus. Nothing more powerful than that.
Find a good local church and speak to your pastor.

I believe that evil can try and enter your life when you are most vulnerable. I don't necessarily think it was the chants that you did in the bathroom, but the guilt and fear of what you had done that came afterwards that may have provided a weakness in you, possibly offering an opportunity for evil to try and creep in. What I would recommend is that while you are praying, ask God, in the name of Jesus Christ, to get the evil out of your mind and out of your life. Ask him to strengthen and protect you, and to keep evil far from you. Repeat this over and over again until these voices no longer interefere. You will find that they will become weaker and finally discontinue when you ask God these things in Jesus' name. You must have faith in what you are asking God, and know that he will protect you. You wil be ok...just nip this in the bud right now. God Bless!

Basic thing to remember - an evil spirit cannot take possession of you without your permission. The key line in your note is - we didn't know any better.
Don't be afraid. One thing to know about God is that God is all merciful and loving, and willing to forgive mistakes. If you don't want evil thoughts - and they will come to you,but that's human nature, called temptation - resist them. Say no. God will be with you.
The appearance of an evil thought is nothing more than a temptation. What you do - how you respond - that's what counts.

Your mind consists of a variety of part personalities of which
all are you.. normaly a healthy person is not aware of this.
I dare say u have experiensed pressing traumas (I guess).
I think u are a victim of depression AND THEREFORE u nead
therapy whith the help of an experianced Pshycologist.
There is no shame in this - it's not your fault but u need help.
I know.. u think.. there is nothing wrong with me...
I lost a lot of time with that thinking..
took me a time to accept help but it does good.. really...
