really a tree squirrel. I have always felt like a tree squirrel inside a human shell of a living being. And furthermore; I know for a fact that my Jack Russel terrier male dog is really struggling something awful with the female dog that is trapped inside. I would like to know where I could get the medical help to get my dog a sex-change operation. And also, what country would give me the necassary medical help to change my specie so that I might live with who I really am inside. And by the way...I believe I am a female tree squirrel trapped in a man's yucky body.

First, you get to try talk therapy like transgender people HAVE to. Then, let's say you do get to change your body. The reason you have that done is so that you can relate to society the way you feel you want to be seen, and people will see you that way. That means that if some redneck happens to SHOOT you, you have no more rights because you're not a human anymore. So...go for it. Do us all a favor.

Do you really think you're a squirrel, or are you asking this to prove a point?

Let me go about dissecting this one by one:

1) As for your dog, you do not know, nor have any way of knowing, that he wants to be a female dog. So until you get some written or spoken proof (which I doubt you'll get), don't try to forcibly change your dog's sex. I doubt any doctor or veterinarian in good conscience would try, anyways.

2) As for sex reassignment surgery that transitions people's bodies to the sex they feel inside, there is strong evidence that gender dysphoria really is a disease where the person was born in the wrong body. There is evidence that there are 'female' and 'male' brains, and that transsexuals' often demonstrate having brain-body mismatches. Nature does get it wrong sometimes. However, there is (as far as I know) no indicator that a person can be born as a wrong species.

3) You can change what species you are. Well, within the limits of surgery and all that. If you've got the money and a willing doctor and the drive to do it, you can go about to turning yourself into a female tree squirrel, or as close as you can get, having been born human. Dennis Avner, or Stalking Cat, has done exactly that, going under much body modification to become as close to a tiger as possible. There's a link to more information about him if you like:

As to what country will help you with a species change, I doubt any. Nobody that I can imagine will pay for it, so it's coming out of your own pocket. As to doctors who will do it, well, there's bound to be someone out there willing, for the right price.

Good, um, luck.

Well before anyone will perform the operations on you you must live for a year as a female tree squirrel. So go right ahead and do that. Come back in a year and we'll talk.

As for your dog, well you can't speak for him, sorry. He'll have to go find his own help.

Dude, seriously, get a life. You don't like the idea of people being able to change their bodies to suit their gender? Fine. Then don't bother coming here you nut!

Science is has not yet advanced to that point. But when they do, you shake your little tail. And that's fine by me, because I've always wanted to be a large bird of prey. I could swoop down, snatch you from a tree branch, and feed your little trans-gender/species carcass to my offspring. God bless the miracles of science!

Even Sybil wasn't that far gone. If you are interested I have a squirrel that stares at me outside my office window I could introduce you to. Maybe you two could hook up.
