I am looking into buying one of those dwarf citrus trees myself. From what I have read, as long as it is a DWARF variety, you can plant it in a 12"-14" plastic pot, and bring it in in the winter. I also know that you should keep the soil moist at the root level, but NOT soggy at all.

Some are self pollinating, others are not. If it is NOT self pollinating, you will either have to take it outside in the summer, or use a Q-tip or small brush to spread the pollen around on the flowers.

I planted a lemon seed from a grocery store lemon about 4 months ago. It's now 6" tall. I just put it in a sunny window and keep the soil moist...
