The small 10 ml grad cylinder. It has been produced to give less errors at low volumes (higher tolerance for small volumes) and the graduation lines will give you a more accurate estimate of the volume than either the 25ml, or 100 ml versions.

Measuring Volume Of Water

A 10 mL is better than a 100 mL for measuring the volume of H2O in a normal test tube. This is because a normal test tube used in beginning chemistry has a volume of 5 - 10 mL. There are many different sizes of test tubes available, but these are the ones generally used in chemistry labs.

The measuring device is more accurate if it is similar in size to the sample you are measuring. The 100 mL graduated cylinder would not be accurate enough for the small volume of H2O in a test tube.

cylinder is the best choice in measuring the volume not only of water but also othe robjects with the use of water, it is due to the reason that it has a good calibration than any other lab. equipment
