Steve Nison is the candlestick guru - look for books by him.
His book Japanese Candlestick Charting Techniques is good but it's expensive - $100 retail.

Right on Nissen. Also, I like "Candlestick Charting Explained", Gregory Morris. Easier reading, a lot of stats of success rates of various signals. Also good discussion of combination with other indicators, such as RSI. But, save up your bucks and get Nissen's first book.
