im interested in finding a job with dogs that has opportunities to advance in.i dont want to treat animals/dogs like vet assistant, techs, vets do. i like the whole doggy day care environment. i work for a dog ranch but it only pays minimum wage and thats not something i can stay in and advance in for years to come. i know this field just does not pay much, but its what i really enjoy doing. does anyone know if i was to find a job working at an actual dog camp are there advancing pay./opportunities to move up? any help is appreciated, thank u.

How about training "Seeing eye dogs", check with your local braille institute. Also check with your local vets offices for ideas. They are using dogs for more and more applications these days. Talk to people who handle dogs on a daily basis, I'm sure they can help you. Remember that the pay is not as critical as happiness on your job. I would rather have a lower paying job that I love doing than a high paying job I hate. Good Luck!!!

Are you good at training dogs. Maybe you could get into training dogs that help people with special needs.
