I think we moved out of the 19th century with blades since electric has come a long way.

Yes, we have moved out of the 19th Century, so why bother with blades or electric when there is Nair. It's a cream hair removal system. Better yet . . . . electrolysis!

I have a goatee, so I use an electric to trim that, but on the rest of my face I use a blade. I have to be careful as well, because my skin is also sensitive, especially around my neck. Those shaving creams and after-shave lotions that are made for so-called "sensitive skin" don't really do much, in my opinion.

I've always used a blade to shave because I guess I'm old-school and feel I get a closer shave. I know that there have been amazing advances with today's electric razors (especially the self-cleaning types), but my Gillette Mach 3 does me just fine...as long as I don't cut myself, as can be the case when I'm running late in the morning. :-)

i have tried an electric shaver several times over the past 42 years. they never give me a close enough shave. consequently, i'm still a blade user. i've been shaving with atra plus blades for years. they're my security blanket for a close, smooth shave.

electric, yet for a real close shave, the new expensive razor, which people who don't want to use the electric razor purchase for everyday shaving.

I use electric. I have never been able to use a regular razor. My skin is too sensitive. I end up with razor burn or cuts.
