As a pro make up artist this is an easy one. There are a few methods. Free hand or by template. The ink used is a resin based "ink" mixed with alchohol. I use one by Temptu and it comes in a little bottle that looks like a liquid eyeliner...i love doing freehand, but usually use a transfer of the design we need. That way it always comes out identical to the last one done, very important in film for continuity. Then i go over the transferred design with the "ink" in the colour needed, the alchohol dries, and what is left is a tattoo that will last at least a couple of days with care. Resin resists sweat, washing, and the harsh lights. Hope that was fun and helpful!!!

Fake Tattoos For Movies

I wouldn't recommend the party with fake alcohol. The idea's been around for many years, so most people would see right through it. Plus, someone might actually bring real alcohol and you'd be in a lot of trouble. Also, unless you're both already super fit, running a marathon will be impossible. Maybe try a half marathon or 10k instead. I'm not trying to get down on you or anything, so don't take it the wrong way. Here are some other ideas. :) -send a message in a bottle -be a vegetarian for a week -tie dye something -reverse pickpocket someone -clean your room and sell the things that you don't need -use the money from above to redecorate your room -try something new, like a new sport or playing an instrument -go to a drive-in movie -go cone-ing -make a new friend -have fun! :)

For small ones, they are painted on. For larger tattoos such as Red Dragon and Prison Break, they consist of large strategically placed stick ons.
