It has the power to make us pay ten bucks, 3 different times (30 bucks total) to sit for 3 hours and watch the movie. Also, has the power to make us buy each dvd as it's released at 20 bucks a pop (60 bucks total/sub-total=90 bucks). And the power to make us buy all 3 again when 2 months later it's released 'again' on dvd, this time with extra added footage (another 60 bucks).. So it has the power to make us spend at LEAST $150.00! Some people had that power possess them to buy the Box Set Edition AND the new 'barebones' editions....lol But I won't go there...lol We spend all that money because of 'The One Ring' ;-) Now THAT IS POWER!

In the first movie (the fellowship of the ring), it says that Sauron poured all his evilness into the ring, so pretty much it was a part of him. If it lived and he died, he would regenerate with the help of the ring, kinda like a starfish. The ring could bring awesome power, but only to Sauron, for the ring has but one master. That's what most of the men of middle earth just don't get, the ring is connected to Sauron and serves ONLY him, they could never use it against him. Oh well, can't blame them for being stupid. Hope this helps!

It gives them willpower. It gives them the will and the "strength" to do whatever it takes to basically rule the world. The other rings of power gave their owners the will and wisdom to rule their people, and the One Ring gives its bearer the will to rule the others and the cruelty and power that it would take to enslave all the races of the world.

It supposedly gives them control over Saron (the eyeball dude). With control over him they have absolute power. Mostly the ring actually overpowers the wearer and makes them feel powerful. However, it also granted Frodo invisibility. So...... it's just powerful. Leave it at that.

ps. Awesome name by the way. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
