mom had it done about a month ago.
her close up vision is perfect, her far seeing eye is not that great.
they are going to have to fine tune that eye.
She had what was called mono vision, so she sees closeup with one eye, and far away with the other.
not a horror story, but not a total success story either.
She will still recommend it be done, cause as I said they are going to fix that other eye, it just has to heal up completely.

I had the surgery almost exactly 1 year ago.
I couldnt be more happy. I am completely free of glasses and contacts.
Initially though, I thought that 1 eye was better than the other, my night vision was not what i expected it to be, and i had some of the "halo"effects around lights at night that another person alluded to.
However, within about 90 days all of these effects were gone. By the time 6 months rolled around it was darn near perfect.
Now i am seeing at right between 20/15 and 20/20.
Extremely satisfied customer.

Says it only took the matter of minutes, she got it done on a sat and was able to go to work on the Monday. Lasek the treatment was that she got.

you should go and see if you qualify first not everyone can have it,I had it and it was great I had glasses for years and now I can read without them, the only problem I have is at night the car lights bother me a lot but there are special glasses just for that, other than that I am very happy with it.
