I have written many letters and e-mails in reference to a family crisis that we are dealing with that involves a sex-offender,(whom married my husbands ex-wife), having visits with his son, whom we have custody. They are supposed to have a supervisor, according to the court, but they have now picked a convicted preditor to supervise. Florida court is doing nothing.

Keep the letter as brief & to the point as possible. Complicated details they can get later.

Have it proof read by someone good w spelling & grammar. A letter loses credability if poorly written & full of typos.

Do some legwork ahead of time & find out the name of the person handling the type issue you seek help with. A request needs to reach them directly if possible to avoid sitting on someone else's desk for later action'

Provide the best way to communicate w you, including phone & ESPECIALLY email address. That way an answer or question can be sent to you anytime.

Good Luck!!
