Well Yea, but he has a great supporting cast think about it caron butler, antawn jamison, brendan hayes, and that other dude that rotates. Without them he wouldnt be close to being dominant, however he is a one man wrecking crew in tight situations and scores at will.

Well, besides McGrady (or Yao, depending on how you see it) and Iverson (or Melo, depending on how you see it), Caron and Jamison are probably two of the best 2nd/3rd offensive options in the league. Right up there with Josh Howard and S. O'Neal. Also, whoever between Caron and Jamison is the 2nd option, the other is certainly the best 3rd offensive option in the league... I would say both Caron and Jamison are greater offensive threats than the Suns' 3rd option, Marion.

So, Arenas is capable of being a one-man wrecking crew, but he really doesn't have to be. He has GREAT offensive options on his team. If he (and his two bucket buddies) could become a defensive force, then the Wiz would be for real.

If you believe he is a one man wrecking crew, you must consider him at the same level as Allen Iverson. In my opinion, Allen Iverson was just doing what he can for the sixers to win. Washington needs Gilbert to continue to hoist his shots because everyone else is a role player. Confidence is what leads to success...

It's easy to be a one - man wrecking crew when you got good role players around you. could he put up Iverson - type numbers with as little to compliment him as Iverson did? Probably not. I'll say this though, there's not a more deadly shooter inside of half - court (that's right, Mike Redd, Dirk, Jesus Shuttlesworth, whoever else - I SAID IT!!). And Oh yeah ... HIBACHI !!

He is a great offensive player. But he's helped by Jamison and Butler who also demand defensive attention.
