I would like to know who had to read the Communist Manifesto in school and if anyone had any of Adam Smith's work as a required assignment?

I was a history minor in college, so it was never assigned. But I think it was probably high on the recommended list for serious economic & philosophy majors. It's right up there with The Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith as a classic work. I don't know too many people who've read either book.

neither, even in any Economics classes. We were just given a rough outline on the philosophies of Smith and Marx.
