Many countries celebrate their New Years on different months. Especially Eastern countries such as China/Vietnam (February) Thai/India(April) and Islamic New Year dates vary every year.
Mosty countries can vary on their New Years dates depending on different calendars based on religion and lunar position. Hence, Western's Gregorian/Julian Calendar where it's based on season, and Lunar Calendars based on astrology.
