My guy made a comment about my body and needing to be in better shape but also told me it doesn't really matter to him. BUT at the same time he doesn't talk positively about larger women and makes comments about Kirsty Ally and Tyra Banks being "fat". Would you believe it really doesn't matter to him??

He's basically telling you that if you don't start making an effort he'll start looking for someone else.

OK, you are not going to like this - but if staying with your friend is important to you, then you need to be in a better shape. By not being open to you in this regard, he shows that he is afraid to lose you - but he would REALLY want you to do something about a better body. Being healthy - and fit - can be a benefit - give it a try. You might re-discover your confidence.

If you're not actually overweight, its nothing to worry about.

However, I think most men old rather their girlfriends be normal weight as its more attractive. That doesn't necessarily mean he'd want to dump you if you were overweight. Obviously, your personality will be the main thing he likes about you.

He is somewhat shallow. On the other hand, he could be doubling the standard. If you can feel that he loves you, then it is OK! Because we all criticize celebrities about how they look or sings or their live styles. But for most of us, we hell sure we look, sing worse than the celeb we criticize.

It's one thing to comment , and another to say that it needs to be in a better shape. My boyfriend says stuff about my figure too. But he says he likes it. If your boyfriend express unhappiness about your body. It's his problem, not yours.

if he only made one comment one time then forget about it .
especially if you are in good shape.
but guys say stupid things all the time (it's our job) Don't spend ages agonizing over something he never really meant.
