What is the terrain like driving from Billings, MT to Bozeman on I-90? Is it mountainous at all? Is a lot of snow common this time of year? I will making the drive next Saturday after flying in.

Well, there usually is a lot of snow, but we are a little dry this year, it hasn't snowed in a few weeks, so you should be good. Indeed it is mountainous, that is usually the whole reason people come out here in the first place :P It's been a while since I've driven out to Billings, but if I'm correct you'll have a few mountain passes to go through...nothing to incredibly terrible, though it may be scary if you've never traveled through mountains before...but honestly all the roads are paved and everything :P We're not THAT big of hicks...just normal highway roads for the most part.
I'd check weather forcasts a few days before you leave so that you can be prepared for whatever the weather may be. Even if it is snowy, Montana is prepared and plows constantly...most of the time, even if it ISN'T snowing, lol.
Anything you freak out about is usually all in your head, I suggest some good music, calming, or something that won't make you nervous or anxious.
Take your time!!! Go slow if you want, people are usually understanding if the weather is bad. And most Montanans are very helpful if you get confused or stuck or anything :) We've all been there before.

Looks to be mountainous. Look at google.com/maps and search driving directions...then look at the satellite view
look at weather.com for current weather information. As of today it will be few snow showers and high of 29.

Yeah, you'll get snow! However, it's not mountainous at all. It's pretty FLAT.
