If an image online says: "image for proofing use only, unathorized reproduction prohibited" then does that mean I can't use it in a PowerPoint presentation? Or put it on a poster board?

that's right..

you will need to ask them permission before using it, or else you can get copy infringement charges placed against you.

Ask them for permission, first if you want to use the image(s). But in my opinion.. that whole idea is stupid. If a picture is on the internet for everyone to see, then that should automatically give the public a right to use it however they want.

hi kay there are plenty of free image sites.. so u can download any image u want and use it without paying ok..
