I don't know what to do. I think that I have a UTI, but I am not convinced. Ok, for some reason my period is not even a flow.. it is only brownish in color, and this has been going on for 3 days. I don't have an STD and there is no way I am pregnant bc I am not sexual active nor have I ever been. The strange thing is that the discharge is not even a flow it is brownish red in consistency. Could someone please tell me what is going on?!? I honestly think it is a kidney infection, but I just got over one back in Nov. If it is this, why am I so prone to them. I don't drink water as often as I should, but I am very hygienic and wear cotton underwear. Please Help

You may have a UTI.

People get these because of the way they wipe themselves sometimes. But, you propbably are coming on your period,it's just not really right yet.

Since you've had a UTI before then you know the symptoms of them and should be able to deicipher on whether or not you have one again.

My period is always a brownish red - it's hardly ever bright red, and is usually quite light, no constant flow. Nothing wrong with me.

A kidney infection won't affect your period, but your urine.
