I think everyone here summed it up. I'm not sure what veteran's school is (the military? veterinary school?), but I don't think that it qualifies anyone to perform an at-home surgery that could risk your cat. Even if your friend attending a veterinary school for a while, chances are he/she did not get as far a performing a surgical procedure. My cat is also amazing and I had her altered. I recently got her a kitten of her own (a rescue kitten that had a tough few weeks), and he is also pretty amazing. I will be taking him to a vet to have him altered within the next couple weeks. I think that even if you take your cat in to a professional and this procedure is somehow possible (never mind ethics), you would be causing him physical and emotional trauma that might make him feel less-than-amazing for a long time (if he survives). Besides, you would still need an adult (unaltered) female cat to pursue your master plan.

With no real offense, surely you jest!!!!!
Your friend who went to Vet school for "AWHILE" Hmmmm. I attended a seminar at the Sor Bonne in Paris, but that doesn't mean I can claim to have been a student, of any course studies there.
The first two answers have clued you. Parts is parts, and in organisms are rarely recycleable.
Another thing and again with no offense ONE Tom is not a promise of a family of "awesome" offspring. I'll ammend that a bit if you happen to be talking breed rather than personality, in which case FIXING shouldn't be the issue. I'd offer a guess that anyone wanting MORE Bengals for example, would never consider having the original breeding stock get anywhere near a scalpel and sutures.

You do realize that neutering is a procedure that REMOVES the male cat's testicles.........COMPLETELY........... Right? So, even if you were so amazingly super skilled enough to, not only do the general surgery, but even more super skilled so as to be able to do the micro-surgery that is required to reattach all of the tiny little blood vessels and nerves, and educated enough to know how to precisely administer the anesthesia without killing the cat, and find all of the proper surgical instruments because an exacto-blade and a kitchen spatula just ain't gonna cut it, you would still actually need to have a pair of testicles to reattach. And, then there's this thought that can't be ignored: so even if, by some amazing miracle you could actually perform this very technical surgery and you found a spare pair of cat testicles laying around, wherever you got this pair of testicles, it wouldn't carry the DNA of YOUR cat, and if your cat were actually able to get some other cat pregnant, it wouldn't even be your cat's offspring. It would be the offspring of some cat running around somewhere without his testicles. Lay off the drugs and leave your cat alone.

Well, first thing is first your kitty's male organs are long gone I mean FOREVER. They completely remove everything that can even constitute of trying to impregnate a female cat. The second thing you and your so called friend that went to vetrinarian school are both morans. He/She should already know that this type of proceedure can not be reversed. You need to seek phycological help if you are going to even think trying to reverse this proceedure and be reported to the Humane Society. Your Friend should be put in jail for knowing that he /she would be killing this poor creature you say you love so much. If you seriously love your kitty you will leave your kitty just the way it is. Nothing more Nothing less.

Bad idea, just go to the shelter and rescue a kitten.Having a kitten from this cat is NOT going to produce the same cat. Are you exactly like both your parents? I don't think so. Look for a cat with similar personality, the rest is probably from the love you give it.

Lets see ... you are willing to risk killing the cat you love ... that still has another decade of living to do ... because you think only this cat's genetic material is soley responsible for its amazingness? And if it does by some miracle survive, it will remain the same personality you've grown to love?
Bad idea.
And a veteran will be of no help with the un-neutering but may be handy with the killing.
Enjoy your cat for who he is. If you want another, just keep visiting the animal shelter for one that has the same qualities. You've got time. You'll find one.

It is not possible to undo the procedure.
Attempting any invasive surgery at home, with unqualified people, such as your self and your friend who went to school for a while, is merely a VERY malicious way to kill your cat.

What is done is done my friend. If he is the most amazing cat, don't put him through more torture. Let him live out his life without another incident. Let him be amazing as he is now.

How about I report this to the nearest animal protective agency....Or, you can go to them and confess to having death ideations about your cat and you want them to remove the temptation!.....Better yet, how about I call the men in white to help you out. They come with a free white jacket that has nice belt loops.
Forgive her for she knows not what she is asking!

If you could un-do his neutering he would really be an amazing cat. If you want another like him have him cloned.
