You have to clear the local right of ways (public sidewalks, basically, not the walk drom the road to your house). If you don't want to bother with your driveway, don't. However, you are liable in the event someone is injured as a result.

Most places don't require you to shovel, unless it is required in a local ordinance. I know the Post Office has the right to refuse delivery if it is a burden to deliver, because of the snow. I always shovel for the mailman and newspaper delivery because it's common courtesy. Check with your local statutes to see if it is a requirement.

well, i live in hamilton county, ohio,& we dont HAVE TOO, but IF you do & somebody falls, YOUR liable & if you leave it alone with snow on them , its "an act of God" & no one can sue you
