Find a different studio, preferrably one that also offers modern or jazz dance in addition to ballet. There simply IS NO ALTERNATIVE to attending dance classes in order to learn how to dance. I hope you also understand that when teachers give corrections to individual students, it is a GOOD THING. This means that the teacher is paying attention to you and helping to make you better. If you think of corrections as an honor and not as though the teacher is picking on you, it may help you to feel more comfortable in class.

Go to a class. That is really the only legit way. Mybe you can order a vid. But if one class crashed and burned dont let it discourage you. Because it doesn't matter who is laughing at you. You are only there for you. Don't let others hinder you or bring you down.

You dont wanna be like me with like no dance skills. you are a year younger than me. do it while you really still have time and you are still young,

:o)
