There has been a misunderstanding.
I didn't say all ugly people are mean.

I said " Why are almost all mean people ugly? "

Meaning, Almost all of the Mean people I have come in contact with have been ugly.

A lot of gorgeous people think they can treat everyone else like crap because they're soooo beautiful or whatever. Ugly people definitely do NOT have a monopoly on jerkiness.

In my experience, I've found more attractive people to be mean than ugly people. Some attractive people think their beauty gives them a license to be a jerk if people don't cater to their wishes. The product of parental overindulgence based on cuteness, I suppose. I have also came across mean people who are ugly, but I think their reasons are different. Some ugly people are mean because people have been mean to them. Since childhood, they have been rewarded less and ostracized more than their better looking peers, so they react by being abrasive because they already expect rejection.

It is most certainly not what I have seen.
There are many people who is evil and obnoxious inside looked decent from the outsides.

On the other hand, some people who is butt ugly does have a gentle heart within.

Sometimes, it takes time to get to know someone.

I found the gesture and posture tells a better story about the character of that person at times.

I noticed you said -almost- and many people have pent up hate and if not dealt with by kindness during the course of their life the hate may reflect in their face as the heart speaks so to say.Maybe the word distortion is fitting.

All intentional actions leave traces on the body but most importantly on the face.
An aunt of mine used to say: 'With 30 you're responsible for your own face,' but it's much earlier really.
In Buddhism, beauty is said to be the karmic result of generosity in good faith, endurance (precisely: not reacting with anger to provocation) and loving-kindness to all beings.
It's not for no reason that we are attracted to beautiful people.

OK,let me get this straight;ugly people are all mean?
What is ugly to you, outward apperance I take it.
By my standards of ugly that would be someone who is small minded to the point of judging someone by their looks.
Sound familiar?

I have noticed it and I have always attributed it to that person being teased as a child and taking it out on the world as a adult......yes I've noticed.
